Section 1.01 Name. The name of this corporation shall be PACIFIC NORTHWEST MENNONITE CONFERENCE.
Section 1.02 Affiliation. This Conference is a member of the Mennonite Church U.S. or its successor.
Section 1.03 Purpose. As Churches of the Pacific Northwest Mennonite
Conference, we commit to unitedly and effectively promote the cause of
Christ and His Church under the leading of the Holy Spirit and in
harmony with the Word of God.
Section 1.04 Statement of Faith. We accept and commend the Holy
Scriptures as the basis for discerning our faith and practice as God's
people. We further accept and commend to our congregations the
Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective as adopted in 1995, as a
statement of faith and practice, which expresses the uniqueness of our
own Christian heritage.
